Test detection
Test detection lives in the property inspector. It captures the foreground window after a short countdown.
How to run it
Section titled “How to run it”- Open the Auto Profile Switcher property inspector.
- Click Test detection.
- You have 3 seconds to focus the target application.
- Results stay visible: process name, window title, and matched profile (if any).
While testing
Section titled “While testing”- Auto-switching is disabled while the property inspector is open — you will not lose the panel mid-configuration.
- Use + Add to app list to turn the result into a new rule immediately.
